So as some of you may realise I am completely swamped when it comes to shows/books/films that I obsess fannishly over. I've just checked and I've written fic in 12 fandoms, and made videos in an additional 2. [Poll #1744884]And I heavily edited this list for fandoms which I no longer read in and never actively participated in like House, Chuck, White Collar, Hollyoaks etc. Although I've probably missed something important.
Click the ticky boxes lovely flist! It's fun! :)

I wrote one cracky 5 things fic for LoM/A2A but I love to lurk :) I just stalk the tags on rec comms. Although the lifein73 comm is the most active I think, and the mars_daily newsletter is pretty comprehensive :)
Lurk more thoroughly! Life on Mars fandom is one of my favourites, I don't know how I get the feeling just from lurking on comms but it feels very laid back :)
And now I've rambled.... ignore me...

Although I think HP was my first fandom, and its the only one I have old fics bookmarked for that I'll go back to over and over again. I'm a complete lurker in Buffy fandom, by the time I realised fandom existed I think it was off air? Or almost anyway, so I kind of missed it first time round.
Of course H50 is my newest fandom *hugs it close* and I'm going to try my best not to push it aside when something else shiney and new comes along...

Yeah I'm a bit like that. Although my favourite comms are rec ones, I tend to read recs more than anything. And at the moment I'm devouring H50 post finale fic and constantly refreshing my Glee comms for new fic :)

Have written a few for: Biggles, Dukes of Hazzard, 3 Men In A Boat, Dragons Den, Cameron/Clegg, Waterloo Road.
Have also written one-offs for The Mummy, Ghostbusters & Foyle's War.
Um. XD

And yes I seem to have missed X Factor from my poll....
(I always want to read Cameron/Clegg but can never quite bring myself to click the button)

I have my old reliable ones that I go back to if I see a rec floating around. due South and Sports Night mainly I think and Harry Potter. I could read anything in those fandoms over and over. I think Hawaii Five-0 is growing into one of those for me as well though :)

I was big into Adam Lambert/Tommy Joe Ratliff slash during the Glam Nation Tour, but it turned out to be more of a summer crush.
I poke around Yuletide every so often and will look for fanfic from books I like, but that's sporadic.
I find it interesting that there's a significant overlap from my primary fandom, H/D, with both Inception and Merlin (and now The Eagle) but there wasn't any in SGA or TW, and there's just a little bit in H50.

I read a Pirates of the Caribbean fic the other day (my first) and now I'm itching to hunt down more...must resist... It's easier if the first fic you read in fandom is awful, then its more difficult to be sucked in!

--SGA, Inception, H50, Torchwood--fanfic before source (and source always falls short)
--H/D, Adam/Tommy--source before fanfic
--Merlin--only fanfic (am afraid to watch source because I'm pretty sure I won't like it)
The other thing I find interesting is which fandom pairings RPFs develop in. Bradley/Colin seems very popular in Merlin (I read it interchangeably with Arthur/Merlin); but I've never even seen THard/JGL (and wouldn't read it if I did).
How is it for you with source/fanworks?

I don't think I could have read Inception fic before seeing the film! Wouldn't that be confusing??
I love Merlin, fic and show, :) It's kinda cheesy sometimes but I love it!
I think the rpf thing has to do with how much you see of the actors behind the scenes. They do lots of things on Merlin so you see the actors quite a lot (they do Secrets Revealed but I think that might have only been the second series for every episode, and they did an online thing where Bradley and Colin had to answer questions and do tasks.)

...wow. And that doesn't even start in on my anime/manga fandoms and most of the films...*reads too much fic*

Also, I'm finding this reassuring that I'm not the only lurker on my flist :)

I write too though, mostly Stargate because of my Landcom, but I'll write some Supernatural, Doctor Who...bunch of crossovers. I'm a sucker for crossovers.

I miss Stargate, why isnt it on my tv anymore? I tried to start watching again from the beginning a while back but there's so much of it! I might go back and try again :)

Though, I guess you could count the spec script I wrote for Supernatural two years ago as a fanfic. Come to think of it, one of my other scripts was inspired by a set of HP oneshots; however, in the end, it turned out totally different from the originals.

I used to write SG1 scripts when I was younger, I've no idea what happened to them... then I discovered fandom and fic and decided writing in script format was too much effort lol!
