Doctor Who fic beta?

Anyone on my flist interested in beta-ing a Doctor Who fic?  Set on Pete's world with the Human Doctor and Rose etc.  I think it's going to be the first of the a series, so at the moment its kind of just Ten2/Rose but not overly because I want to slash the hell out of the next parts :) (I'm going with calling the pairing Smith/Saxon *excited/evil grin*)  Knowledge of original DW is an advantage, but I'm quite happy to do that research on my own as well!

Anyone?  I would have no idea where to start searching for DW beta's otherwise, does anyone want to volunteer that info even if they don't want to beta??

I've never beta'd anything before in my life, and I'm not sure I would be that good at it, but if no one else volunteers I would love to help out if I can because I think this idea is great. MackenzieLeigh@aol.com

I've never really done it before either, and everyone has a different idea of what beta-ing is. I kinda just want someone to read over and see what they think, if anything doesnt make sense, needs more, oh and to see if there are any glaring hideous spelling mistakes!

The main thing i wanted was an opinion, I can do grammar/spelling myself if i super concentrate :)

I'd love it if you'd look! Everyone has to start somewhere :)

Okay, well I certainly have very strong opinions on Master/Doctor and would love to help you out in that area. I have pretty strong grammar and spelling skills, so if there's anything obvious you missed I could certainly catch those, too. So, I'd certainly be happy to read it over for you! :)

Thank you! I have to admit, there's not really any Doctor/Master stuff in this part (and I don't know when the second will surface, although I have a pretty good idea of what will happen). I'll probably email it over tomorrow evening now, after work, if thats okay?

I suppose I could always lend a hand if necessary. :] I mean, like, I know mostly about the more recent doctors, but I have a very helpful mother who knows everything about Doctor Who ever since the beginning. So... :]

I know literally nothing about the original series tbh, i have a few specific questions which i can probably find the answers to easily enough i should think...

What exactly would you like in a beta?

When I have been a beta for fics before, I have read over them for any grammer/spelling, if there are any plot holes that you may have missed, and can do research if you dont have the time (if you wanted some research for a fortcoming chapter, whilst you were writing a current chapter, you can ask me to look it up, and I will rely as much info back as I can...)

Wow! Thank you! At the moment it could kind of be a stand alone, but I'd love to do more.

Maybe you could do a second beta for me? I know its not as good as I can make it atm, but my brains just not clicking when it comes to improving it.

In terms of whatever I want in a beta, anything really, I'm just glad of any help!

If you need another set of eyes, I'd be happy to help! I haven't beta'd in ages, but I know the Whoniverse relatively well (new much better than old, but I have a nanny who grew up on it and can research anything I don't already know fairly quickly) and can spell-/grammar-check and such. Your story sounds absolutely fascinating.
