Gene Hunt was involved in a accident with the supernatural and ended up with a nicely lengthened life span, a wife, and a sneaking suspicion his DI is not as crazy as he seemed. He joins the fight with the Van Hellsing's...and keeps an eye out for a certain Sam Tyler whenever he's back in the country. ...or something like that.
My original idea was Sam had some kind of demon blood in him generations back and his frustrations with his life and job where eeking out (some kind of psych/empathy thing) and riling up the local half-lives, so Galvin and co sort it out so he's in a coma, make the little world for him in his head, Galvin pops in now and again to keep an eye, spends more and more time there, but one day Sam wakes up and all hell breaks loose because Sammy's been getting a little bit angry in 1973 and now that he knows the truth, he's furious :)
Do both! I like yours! Mine was simply an attempt to make that accent *actually* fake. Sam's so in love with Gene though. Even if he got angry, Galvin would survive it. Luke wouldn't, 'cause he's a prat.
I could probably think of more if I put my mind to it...
Mnah, we can explain the accent away easily enough some other way :) and its much better than the southern one he tried to do in the last episode *shudders*
Galvin could survive Sams wrath totally, he'd be like have you ever.... *insert some cool feat of amazingness Galvin performed in combat against a hal-life*?? No? Then shut that sissy girl mouth of yours! :)
Lol, Luke would be hiding in the stacks with his hands over his ears and his eyes screwed up whilst Galvin and Sam screamed and beat the shit out of eachother
Haven't seen it yet. I get my dad to record them so I'm watching my way through now. That and SPN.
...I'm seeing wrathful!Sam as the Master actually. He really does take over peoples brains when they're not looking, doesn't he?
And Luke would still be hiding there when the screams turned to moans, and all the thumps were made by bodies being slammed against bookshelves and *ravished* (Sam needs ravishing more. Indulge me.) Ruby and Mina would be perving from the other side of the room. Finally a way for the 2 of them to bond!
I actually caught it this week, I usually have to catch up in the week, that accent was awful though....

I know a couple really funny Master!Sam ones, if you want. Total porn but amusing nonetheless. They're not my faves...but that's cause I love 10/Simm too much to let the Master play elsewhere.
Luke doesn't want Galvin. He's trying so hard to be straight, and ignoring all his advances (and there are several). He needs a wake up call. And, possibly, a trip to Cardiff if Galvin and Sam look happy together to run into a certain Captain...I never got to slash Ross with Jack, okay? I was deprived.
Did you ever watch Life on Mars? Basically Gene Hunt (Philip Glenister aka Galvin) calls Sam, the main character (whose from 2006 but somehow ended up in 1973 with Gene and co.) girls names, Samantha, Gladys etc. Made me laugh when he called Thrip it :)
ITV are lame! Dont know if they'll even make another series? Dont think the ratings where that good *cries*
Yeah I have my fingers crossed too, i know it wasnt brilliant but it was entertaining, and had the potential to be really great as well. I hope they make more!
