Feed Me Fic Prompts for Summer Writing Spree

I have a compulsion to write fic, much much fic.  Why?  Probably because i need to write my 10,000 word dissertation in the next two weeks (current word count? 400) then hand it in, write 3x3000 essays, get my disso back and rewrite it all by end on March....

Then several weeks of nothing, and by that i mean revision, and then some exams at the beginning of May.  And then I'll be FREE!!

First thing I'm going to do: Finish Harry Potter Draco/Harry Post DH fic 'And All Over Again'
Second thing: Write another Sports Night Fic, any length, pairing, gen, I dont care, I just feel like I should
Third: Write a Demons Fic... why??? Seems like it might be fun :)
Fourth: WRITE SOMETHING ELSE!  Any prompts/pairings? it'll clearly be a while but I think i'm gonna spend my year off writing :) Provide me with a starting point people! *g*

All in favour of a due South/Life on Mars combo? Benton Fraser is involved in a car accident and wakes up in...You get the picture. It would be *priceless* to see the look on his face. And I'm fairly sure his dad would still show up, despite his now breathing status.

Personally I would love seeing Fraser meeting RayK way back when. But Fraser meeting Gene? *brain explodes* He can barely deal with Sam being a goody two shoes, how would he cope with a paragon of virtue like Frase?

Yeah thats what I was thinking, but totally want to get Gene in there too :) Fraser's probably explode from overwhleming dissaproval and Gene would probably die from laughing :)

Gene would try and beat him ('cause he always tries to beat people up) and Fraser would be all superman and avoid his punches. What would Sam think of him?
But leaving out poor Ray? That's cruel.

Maybe the trail of Fraser's killers takes him to Manchester (or London) and when he wakes up he's in front of the GTO and Ray's shouting at him for walking into traffic *again*, and it turns out they're investigating his fathers murder together because Ray's worked with Hunt and co. before (on an international case?) and his superiors thought Fraser could use a hand when it came to DCI Hunt :)

If you put it in London you have to write Alex. Think about that. Can you handle her whiny presence in your fic?

But I like that idea! Makes more sense than how my brain was doing it (I think that LoM is a coppers afterlife, and every police officer in an accident ends up there. Explains Alex and makes it easier to put others in it *g*)

I've not actually seen Ashes to Ashes, and am only up eot episode three of LoM, have totally fallen in love with it though, IT WINS AT LIFE

I havent really thought about it too much, but that makes sense, and it kind of leaves it open for anyone there to possibly not be a hallucination, which is also kind of cool :)

I have the second series of LoM on dvd, so I could tell you what happens...but that would be cruel and evil. I don't have the first though so I keep forgetting what went on. So unfair.

Does make sense, no? Makes crossovers with cop shows so much easier too. Worrying to think when/where Gene's actually from though...

I always thought I liked him better, but when I went back and rewatched RayV has his good point too... what am i saying? All for the RayK love :)

No spoiling!! I have to say, I'm getting kind of impatient only being able to watch once a week (its being repeated from beginning on virgin1) really want to buy the dvds but i only just bought supernatural and am not through them yet so... it'll have to be the slow path for me :)

Oh Gene could totally be from Manchester, my cousin was forever gettin smacked round the head by the local coppers when he lived up there, but he was a right little shit, once spray painted some nasty stuff on the station itself... idiot lol. But I remember being there once and a car slowing down as it drove past us and some guy calling out I'm watching you to my cousin, he laughed though, which i dont think was the intended effect, apparently was some copper who knew him...

I've not watched many Vecchio episodes, and they seemed less interesting. Plus, RayK was my first Ray. You never get over your first Ray ;)

Oh, Virgin. I have BT so I hate all mention of that channel. It's like a black hole. I think my next tv buying thing will be Heroes. I miss Peter/Sylar...
I would lend LoM to you, but the dvd is not at the house I'm at right now. Sorry.

Policemen can be weird. I got arrested once (don't ask) and the guy that did it came into my work a few months later and remembered me by name. Truly disconcerting.

They're good the Vecchio episodes! A little more serious, but some of them are really great

I've never watched Heroes, by the time everyone was telling me how great it was i was so far behind it seemed a bit pointless. No worries! Its kind of fun to watch something in a normal once a week way lol

You must have been very memorable :) Or they just didnt arrest that many people that month... :)

Vecchio did get Victoria and the fallout from that, and Mark. Quite like Mark for all he's a prick. But RayK...I just want Fraser to wrap him up and take him home *squishes imaginary!Ray*

I was like that to start off- I got really annoyed with all the time Heroes was taking up when something I watched could've been on. But then I saw the first ep and was utterly hooked.

Memorable. God, I hope not.
