Has anyone watched Being Human on BBC3?
Its much better than I thought it'd be, from the way they advertised it anyway, as they played up the comedy rather than the drama and the gore :)
I think I'm liking it better than Demons... maybe... I'll give it a few more episodes and see where it goes.

For people who dont know, its basically about a werewolf and a vampire who move into a house which is being haunted by a former tenent whome they happen to be able to see.  Their backstories are all pretty depressing... and they're all trying their best to fit in and be normal, unsuccessfully so far.

In other news, I'm halfway through Supernatural season 1, its good! Thats all i have to say.  Also its kinda scary, like in a yelling at your tv, 'dont go there!' kind of way.  Looking forward to continue watching, but taking my time as i'm busy with uni work. *sigh*

They've remade it I have no idea what happened but there was a one off ep last year with different actors apart form the werewolf!! I liked the other actiors betters but I still think it's a good show.

I never saw it the first time round so I cant compare, I think the guy who plays the werewolf (George?) is the same. I wish they'd put the pilot on iPlayer so I could watch it...

Yeah I think they're kinda on par for me at the moment, they're different really so cant really compare. I think Demons takes itself a little too seriously? And Galvins American accents irritates me, if it wasnt for that i might prefer it, lol.

Also its being advertised every other ad break on itv at the mo because of flagging ratings... enough already!!

I only started watching it cos it has the guy from Life on Mars in it I have to say when I first heard the accent I couldn't stop laughing but now I'm use it to I don't think it's to bad.

I've only just started watching Life on Mars! They're replaying it from scratch on Virgin1. I have no idea why i didnt watch it the first time round, its brilliant! :)

But yes, the accent is a little bit grating. Especially when you know its fake and have heard their real accent before because then you can hear the little bits where they slip up.

Not all fake accents are bad.. David Tennant (most of the time), House(Hugh) I can't spell his second name.

Have you ever watched sanctuary Amanda's accent used to really annoy me but now I'm used to it I don't really notice it.

Hugh Laurie?? dunno how to spell it either, anyway he got better over time, i only started watching house season 3 and when i went back i could hear every little british-ism

And David Tennent is good yeah, but I'm watching the first few episodes now that he did and he slips up more often, obviously they get better over time.

Maybe too much, because with Amanda Tapping she was okay after a few episodes, but when she was in Atlantis season finale i could hear the english twang to her voice! Like she spent so long doing it she couldnt quite shake it off... I thought it was just me but i went back and watched some older episodes and she does sound different than before

I caught it the first time round and it had me hooked. The boys were just so...married and cute. There was a onscreen squee that was too adorable for words. Besides, the quote 'When in Rome, stop eating the other Romans' is just *shiny*

Wincest gets more as it goes on. Those boys will die for each other.
