Dead Set (not really spoilerish I dont think...)

Is anyone watching Dead Set??  I really enjoyed it yesterday!! The thing with zombie films (or in this case mini-series) is that they can feel a bit same-y.  Starting with rioting, phone lines going down, newscasters warning to seal yourselves in yuor homes, tvs going down, finding out you have to get them in the head to kill them.  And yes this has all of those things....

 

But its from a new kind of perspective.  I have to say, i really cant stand Big Brother, but the fact they're on complete media/outside blackout means that if any kind of disaster did befall the world outside they wouldnt know.  And obviously if something did happen in r/l, producers would pull them out, let them know etc... but unfortunately in Dead Set they're too busy having their jugular/s ripped out....

Lots of gore, screaming and fun, not to mention general underlying message i.e. that Big Brother is brain zombie-fying television viewing.  It's great fun, go, watch.  It's on E4 every night this week at ten *checks the clock* just three hours to go :)

p.s. i have no zombie icon... this is the closest i can get... ho hum :(

I watched it on catch up TV while eating tea last night, yet I am all sorts of wrong :P and watched it last night on E4. I too hate Big Brother but it's true about what would happen if something like that happened suddenly, no communication or nothing. Very cool!

What I really like is the way it just ends...no credits or anything and leaves you wanting more!

I know, i didnt check the tv guide before watching yesterday and was oh, its finished! lol
