Ok, so I have almost practically definitely decided that I want to do a Masters, and in Social Psychology.  The thing is my uni doesnt do such a course, nor do any of my local ones, thus I'm going to have to move away, which I think I'm actually personally confident enough in myself to do now, whereas I wasn't a couple of years ago.

Anyway, now I've decided this I thought, well why stick to the UK, I have a passport, I could study abroad no?  So I've used google and found a site called gradschools.com.  Clearly I have no idea to the credibility of this site, so if anyone knows any other please shout them out.

Behind the cuts are lists of Canadian and US unis that the site said do social psychology masters programs.  However I did one for Britain, just to see if it was any good.  It came up with a few but I know of more.

Soooo, I ask anyone Canadian, American or who has travelled and may know, which places would you recommend? Which institutions are better? Are there any you know of missing from my list (which I have no idea to the accuracy of...)
Any help would be lovely as I'm kinda exited about the idea, and even more exited that I don't seem to be terrified by it :)

I will eventually investigate them all myself, its just finding the time....
Also need to bear in mind my negative reaction to sustained or excessive heat, so I guess some of the places may have to be automatically crossed off?

Umm...actually, I'd rec the Social Psych program at UNC-Chapel Hill since we're pretty well known and UNC is one of the top schools in the country :)

I don't know about the programs, but University of Oregon, a lot of my friends go there and a couple of my relatives have, and do, live in the town. Actually, I'll be going there in about a month. But anyway, the town's okay, it's Oregon, so it rains a lot, and Eugene is considered more of a hippie-ish town, like i can't quite explain it, but compared to Oregon State, the school is less of a "cow college" if that makes any sense...

I've also heard that Victoria B.C. is beautiful...
