I hate to rub it in, but omg it's so good. I love having the tv to myself now the housemates have gone home for the holidays. And I'm going home tomorrow! Yays :)

On that question, I'd have to say...wouldn't know. Don't watch Atlantis. But what could Gene Hunt get as a Christmas present from Sam Tyler that he wouldn't just throw back in his face? *g*

I don't have TV capabilities so I'm missing all the Christmas specials. That really puts a damper on the ho ho ho's. The snow is pretty though, so all is not lost. I still love Christmas and am spending my time looking for Christmas fics.

I wish I could write a fic along the lines of A Christmas Carol, but instead of the three Christmas spirits, It would be the three Christmas fics. I really need to get some protein and water in me, I'M GETTING LOOPY!

Your question about Rodney: I think that the best gift for Rodney would be either: 1-the Ancients' knowledge on recharging ZPMs. 2-the database fully explaining how John and Jack have the strongest ATA gene. He always likes knowing how something came to be and being the only one, or first one, who knows it. Or, 3-He might also like getting the chance to ascend and return with some uber knowledge of something 'cool' that either benefits Atlantis or is hidden in Atlantis. Rodney loves to feel special.

Oh me and my family always watch the xmas dr who on christmas day :) It has kind of ruined our previous tradition of no tv on christmas day!!

Hmm, i think a ZPM making machine would be cool :) But in terms of an actual gift? How hard would he be to buy for?!!!

Yes, I'm enjoying the holiday season, though it's far too cold here in western Washington. It's supposed to snow later on, though, so that'll be good. We rarely get snow here, and it's always fun to see it on the ground.

As for Rodney's perfect gift, besides the obvious and already mentioned ZPM/entire understanding of the 'Lantis database, how about a vacation where he can just relax? (Of course, my mind went straight to the bit where he's complaining about the sun being too hot, the sand getting everywhere, and his team smirking because they just know he's having a good time, bitching or not.)

On a completely unrelated note, I need a holiday-season icon.

Good good! Its only just started to get cold over here, I was walking around in short sleeved shirts outside during the week! I've heard its going to snow here next week, I remember when I was little and I'd get really excited about snow, now I'm just like, how the hell am I going to get to work?!

Oh yes a holiday for Rodney would be a good idea, but he'd still be thinking about everything that might go wrong on Atlantis... a holiday and a time dilation device thing so he knows no time has passed there so nothing could go wrong?

Oh I only have the one holiday related icon... I need some more I think!! :)

Buy? Buy? Did you say buy???? Rodney is stinking rich. The only thing he spends his money on is DVDs and chocolate, taking Keller on all expense trips to the Milky Way and buying educational toys for Madison. He hasn't spent a dime on anything worthwhile since he left the galaxy. He doesn't NEED anything? The only things he wants are intangible. Except for the Nobel. That he MIGHT want to buy but it would be dissatisfying because he wants his peers to see that he is worthy above them all.

If I could BUY somethings for Rodney, I would buy him a new lab with the best combination of Asgard, Ancient, Wraith, Human technology connected to a state of the art kitchen. A built-in coffee machine that never runs dry and is perpetually hot. *LOL* That's our Rodney, you gotta love him.
