Sport Relief 2010

It's easy when you grow up with Children in Need, Comic Relief and so on, to just mute it during the appeals and enjoy the entertainment, to know what it's all about but not really pay attention after you've done your bit at school/work etc. 

Whenever Annie Lennox is on though it just makes me cry, she cares so much and does so much for these people.  Russell Brand's appeals were good as well, he has a way of seeming more genuine? He just seems to engage more, and usually he makes me cringe!!  I have to say this is the first year I'm watching any of these all the way through (and not just turning it off after catching the main thing that appeals to me - Ashes to Ashes this year).

I don't know why I posted about this, it just really got to me this year.  I hope they do well!!  I'm off to keep watching :)

I normally try to watch the appeals, but sometimes I can't. Some of them are just too sad for me and I have to stop.

And Annie Lennox is amazing. I haven't seen her yet as I went to bed really early, but I think I recorded it.

I know what you mean, sometimes they're just too much. A few of them were like that last night, which was why I liked Russel Brand's because whilst it was really sad, he talked to them so genuinely and made them laugh :)

I think she was on not long after Ashes to Ashes which was about eleven ish.
