Friend away! I'm a bit stuck for inspiration with vids at the mo tho...so might be a while b4 there's another one...
But am workin on a draft of an SGA fic at the mo, and some HP (original writing is in existance, but not on the net, I wouldn't want to subject anyone to it...)

Could I put forward a suggestion for a Lorne vid? I don't think I've ever seen a vid with him in (well apart from your irreplaceable one) and I see you're a member of mckay_lorne too.
I'll definitely check out your stuff, I'm in the middle of revision for my GCSEs, so I need something to treat myself with in the evenings.
I was just wondering if you've ever done NaNoWriMo? I've done some original stuff too, but none I'd ever show either. XD
I've got hardly anything on my LJ at the moment. I had a big clean out the other day when I got my paid account and deleted everything that made me cringe (which was mostly all of it). I have one fic up that was one of the best of the bunch, but I still don't like it and I ended up posting it in the parrish_lorne community anyway. But as soon as June 14th has ticked by (the day of my last exam), I’ll be writing fic and making graphics to my heart's content. :)
Um… can I be randomly clueless and ask how you got your header up? I've been trying to work out how to do it for a while now. *blush*

Oooo, good luck with your exams (my sis is in the middle of hers too). I remember revising for mine, it sucked, so many exams right after one another, it only gets worse really...
Just looked at the NaNoWriMo link, thats insane! I dont have a long enough attention span i dont think! It takes me months to get out a 1500 word essay, let alone 50,000 in one.... Sayin that, i may give it a go, lol
The thing is with original stuff, it's completely you're own, you can't blame it on the characters or back story of someone elses creation. Also, I never manage to finish original writing, I have a brilliant idea, and then give up halfway through...
I'm not reali into lorne/parrish, but lorne is gettin to be one of my favourite characters...so i may venture into that area of fandomness as well :)
It took me ages to figure out how to get a header.... i still suck at lj reali. Just go to home, then on the drop down menu from 'journal' click on 'customise journal' . Then there's the four tabs, its the 3rd 'custom options'. Page down to 'Top heading style' and select custom, then stick a link in the next box underneath ('Top heading custom background image') to the image you want (i hosted mine at photobucket). Hope that was helpful....
