Friends...

I offen wonder why people add me as a friend.  Is it because we have similar interests?  Did they watch one of my vids?  Or did they read one of my fics and want to stone me for it??

This line of thought was precipitated because I friended a few new people and I had a couple of new people friend me recently.

So new and old friends, why did you add me??

Three boys? Is that exhausting? :) I always wanted to be a teacher, but worried it would put me off of children for life?? I guess maybe I'm not cut out for it if I'm thinking that way :)

I actually have a really bossy personality and love being "in charge" in my classroom and doing my own thing. I started teaching b/c I knew I would be home when the kids were home once I had kids.. of course, now, I go work in my classroom during summer to get away. I have a 17, 12, and 10 year old. We live in a really small town and the kids have practically been raised at the school, so they come to play basketball in the gym (they have their own key.. that's how small and personal we are at my school) and hang out with the other teachers' kids... its really a good job.. but I had a hard time naming the boys after I started teaching. Seems like each name my husband liked reminded me of an unsocialable child. I really love my job, though. You have to like it to stick with it. I've been teaching since I was 21, I have 17 years experience and continue to keep going to school myself. I guess I just like school.. I still get so excited about the first day of school (which is Friday!) and this year I'll teach one of my nieces and one of my nephews. That is a really great perk of the job! ~DEB
