This last week has been very surreal... Early hours monday morning there was a family health related crisis, at least the hospital was empty, but i still feel like I havent caught up on my sleep!  Apparently though, being the calm one through the entire thing has tkane it out on my as I am feeling very very crappy.  Evil migraines and sore throats *glares*

Hmmm, what else?? Ooo anyone from the UK used any interent job hunting sites? Any recommendations for good ones? I'm trying to find a full time job for the summer, once my exams are over anyway, which the Uni have yet to tell us the dates of...

In relation to fandom related things, I have been totally sucked in by Smallville.  I must watch it every day when its on, its kinda sad really.  Re-runs on season 2 at the mo i think so I'm still far behind everyone else.  I've been searching the web for decent Smallville related fanfiction, but havew come up relatively empty, shall have to try a little harder i guess.

Oh, last night was the DS9 episode 'Doctor Bashir I Presume?', yay!!! I was totally looking forward to when Virgin 1 would show that one.  Although I had forgotten about Julian's dad's accent, I was kinda thrown for a moment... people in DS9 shouldn't sound like my neighbours lol.  It definitely cheered me up, specifically the bit when O'Brien is making Holo-Bashir walk into the wall :)

Hmmm, oh SGA! Can't believe the last episode of Season 4 is upon us! I'm not sure if I want to watch it or not! ... Who am I kidding? 
At least it looks like we might not have to wait too long for season 5 :) *happy dance*

With regards to fic, I've fallen woefully behind in And All Over Again and probably wont update until exams are over, unless i have a frenzied moment where I cant take it anymore (which based on past experience is likely).  I also have an SGA McShep AU fic on my computer, which is incomplete, but which I really like and need some motivation to complete, I don't know if posting it will help or hinder me...?

It's time for Rodney McKay's enforced holiday, taking him away from his precious research labs (Lantian Tech) and his rival and the object of his affections Samantha Carter.  While away his friends suggest he try to move on, but instead he formulates a plan to win Sam's heart; by making her jealous.  But there's one fatal flaw in his plan that Radek points out, who will willingly pretend to date Rodney who he won't accidentally fall for?
Enter John Sheppard, having just lost his job from a 'hire-a-date' firm for not being pleasant enough company for a wealthy client, he's unemployed and soon to be evicted from his appartment.  Could he be just the person to assist Rodney in his plight?
